If you are finding it hard to grasp the whole remembering outfits script when using gains try this little trick.
Create another character for example YOU1 and if your readers choose their name then place [NAME]/[FIRSTNAME] in the display just like your main character.
So when you are doing a flashback scene reference YOU1 instead of YOU so you don’t have to worry about your outfit changes.
Same goes to anyone else who is in the current scene if they will be in the flashback with you.
